REVIEWS FROM THE REPOSITORY

Alan Moore's Awesome Adventures -- A four-part article chronicling one of the more intriguing wrong turns taken by comics' grand high wizard:
Atari Force (February 19th, 2005) -- It's our first review EVAR! A second generation video-game based SF comic in the early 80s? My, things moved fast back then!
Camelot 3000 (March 12th, 2005) -- In the FUTURE, will they still eat Ham and Jam and Spam a lot?
The Ring of the Niebelung (April 16th, 2005) -- It's not over until the fat lady sings. Now you can read in 45 minutes what it would take you 12 hours to actually sit through! Take THAT, Lord of the Rings!

Here's my catalogue/review of some of the best comics have to offer. This is intended as a guide for those of you who are debating on whether to plunk down 20 bucks for that "Critically acclaimed" TPB collection, and as an attempt to sell some classics to newcomers to the medium.

Now, I don't claim to be completely comprehensive. This list is limited to those I've actually read. I prefer more independant, non-superhero stories, so that's what you'll mostly find here. Furthermore, I focus on TPBs (Trade Paperbacks) and collections rather than individual issues; it's easier to keep track of self-contained stories.

You'll also notice my reviews tend towards the positive. That's because I usually only pick up books I've heard others rave about, and I don't bother so much with reviewing disappointing books. Plus, I love comics! Still, I try to remain objective.
